Today was another most exciting day as my Buyeo Jagiya posted these 

2 photos on his Weibo and stayed online for almost 4 hours just to read

our fans messages to him…ㅎㅎㅎ  I think it was his rest day from filming^^

I didn't expect him to be online so long so after sending him some comments 

on his photos, I realised he was still online! So I quickly post 2 of my creations 

to him with some messages…teasing him as usual…ㅎㅎㅎ

Then I wanted to share some good news from his hometown, Buyeo

with him but the whole Weibo was jammed till he log off

a couple hours later…ㅎㅎㅎ

“A touching Christmas gift”

Sihoorang, Park Si Hoo’s official fan club, made a big donation to Buyeo  

Sihoorang, the official fan club of Actor Park Si Hoo, who left for Shanghai, China for  the film shooting on 29th of last month and was born in Buyeo, shared the beautiful love with the needy neighbors in PSH’s hometown and showed the mature fandom culture.

 As a celebration of PSH fan café’s 10th anniversary, the donation fund-raising campaign started from last October and about 150 fans from domestic and overseas (China, Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong, etc.) joined and collected KRW10,400,000.

 While Park Si Hoo has grown as K-wave star representing Korea, the number of fan café members has increased sharply all around the world. As of now, about 50,000 members from all around the world including China, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, USA, Australia, Spain, Thailand, Vietnam, belong to Sihoorang and the local fan clubs in each country are also being operated.

 Fans in Sihoorang had thought over what to do for the celebration of 10th anniversary and decided to give the donation to the needy neighbors in PSH’s hometown. And Sihoorang received the advices from Mr. Hwang Kyu San, CEO of 21C Buyeo newspaper, who has been always with PSH during his hard time.

 Mr. Hwang Kyu San discussed with the social welfare officers in Buyeo local government and the chief of Eunsan Myeon (the birthplace of PSH) for this meaningful donation and received the recommendation on the needy neighbors who need the help indeed.

 For “밀알의 집” (the long-term shelter for the disabled located in Jangam myeon), Kimchi refrigerator and 2 sets of 40 inch LED TV, which this organization needed desperately, 10 bags of 20kg rice and 20 boxes of ramen were delivered by Mr. Hwang Kyu San on 24th of December with all fan club members’ heart.

And for the family in PSH’s birthplace, Eunsan myeon, that a hearing-impaired father raises four children, briquet boiler was equipped and 40 inch LED TV was delivered. Also, for a Lee’s family in a similar difficult situation, the refrigerator, 32 inch LED TV and confectionary were delivered.

In addition, for about 30 families in Buyeo eup, Kyuam myeon and Eunsan myeon, 30 bags of 20 kg rice and 60 boxes of ramen were delivered. It showed the warm heart of sharing.

 Mr. Hwang Kyu San, CEO of 21C Buyeo newspaper, told “ I deeply appreciate for local government officers who worked hard for this donation for about one month in spite of their busy work at the end of the year (Officers & social workers in Buyeo gun office, Boyeo eup office, Kyuam myeon office, Eunsan myeon office, Jangam myeon office)” and “Above all, I extend my deep gratitude on whole members of PSH fan club including the fan club management committee on behalf of PSH’s hometown for showing big love by collecting the devoted donation. 

And he added “ At the important point when Buyeo’s son, PSH, broke the long absence after suffering from greatest ordeal since his debut and made comeback with film shooting in China, the donation from PSH’s fan club was delivered to the needy neighbor in PSH’s hometown Buyeo. It was the most valuable Christmas gift in the world and was impressive”.

 Especially, Jung Dong Hyun (Chief of Eunsan myeon office) and Uhm Jung Seob (Social worker) told, “It was a great worthwhile work to deliver this big donation into the needy family desperately in need of warm help.” and praised “PSH’s fan club is also the most wonderful fan club as much as K-wave star PSH.”. 

Sihoorang’s management committee in charge of this donation event mentioned “At the meaningful year to celebrate 10th anniversary of fan café, we carried this project with the intention to donate to PSH’s hometown Buyeo by raising the fund from members. We would like to be a help for the needy neighbors in his hometown.” and “Our fans gather under the name of Sihoorang only with best wishes for PSH’s happiness and success. Sihoorang is much special and precious space for our fans. We hope Sihoorang to be a place of communication to stay always among PSH, fans and his hometown.

Also, Sihoorang management committee added “We kindly ask bigger love and support from his hometown for our proud actor, PSH. Once again, we appreciate Mr. Hwang Kyu San, CEO of 21C Buyeo newspaper and Social workers in Buyeo gun. “

This donation from PSH’s fan café showed heart-felt mind to neighbors in need in his hometown at this cold winter and gave a beautiful impression.

On the other hand, Samsung Digital Plaza Buyeo branch helped this donation by providing the additional service and supplying the briquet boiler and briquet at lower price.

Also, GuRyung Nonghyup (Agricultural Cooperative Federation) supplied the rice polished on that day at wholesale price. Many other persons in Buyeo gave a help for this donation.
