一见钟情也不再仅仅只是一个浪漫传说了——这种瞬间迸发、不由自主的相互吸引，曾令学术界相当困扰，一度被认为是无稽之谈，但现实生活中的例子却又比比皆是。于是，科学家们捧起了爱情故事，试图从科学的角度来揭示这一奇妙现象，一见钟情确实是存在的，而且恋人之间的桥梁就是被我们忽视很久的气味。

Love at first sight is no longer just a romantic legend - this instant outburst, involuntarily attracted to each other, it makes academic circle really worried, once thought to be nonsense but in real life exemplification are everywhere. Thus, scientists raise up the story of love from a scientific point of view trying to reveal this wonderful phenomenon. Love at first sight does exist and the connection between lovers is the scent that we have neglected for a long time.

嗅觉都是我们最为原始也最为重要的感觉器官。新生儿既看不见也听不见，但令科学家们惊讶的是，这些小家伙却能根据气味分辨出生母与奶妈。

Smell is our most primitive and most important sensory organs. Newborn neither see nor hear,  so scientists are surprised that these little babies were born and able to distinguish between the mother and the nurse according to odour.

随着年龄的增长，我们越来越少地依赖和使用嗅觉了，但嗅觉却从台前走到了幕后，在不知不觉中左右我们的选择和情感。

As we age, we are less dependent and have less use of the smelling sense, but the sense of smell didn’t disappear, instead we made our choices and have emotions unconsciously by it.

In fact, "it" is hiding behind odour.

从生物学的角度讲，爱情的产生是由人的外表、声音、气味等因素刺激了对方的大脑，分泌了相应的“爱情激素”俗称荷尔蒙。

From a biological point of view, love is generated by the person's appearance, sound, smell and other factors stimulating each other's brains to secrete the corresponding "love hormone" known as pheromones.

Hormones can make people smell of romance, blessings, happiness, peacefulness and when hormone reaches its peak, that is, into the state of love, lovers eagerly longing for each other, resulting in a feeling of addiction, commonly known as "Love drug".
